Klaxons Bag It Up

Here's the Klaxons covering Blackstreet's 'No Diggity'. It's an amazing cover - they keep it simple yet the vocals make the track sound distinctly 'Klaxon-esque'. But really, while the song is all well and good, let's remember that my photoshop skills are what are really awesome here. Seriously, that took me only about 20 minutes. If New Idea are reading this, I'm available.

Golden Plains Final Lineup

The time is almost upon us for one of the freshest and favourite Victorian music festivals - Golden Plains - the less-crowded version of Meredith Music Festival. Many were wondering whether a second lineup announcement would occur, but it seems the organisers instead opted for a trickle of extra bands such as Pikelet and Scientists of Modern Music to follow the killer first announcement.

The final lineup is:

WEEN, SHARON JONES AND THE DAP KINGS, THE VINES, IRON AND WINE, BEIRUT, OPTIMO, THE BANG GANG DEEJAYS, THE DIRTBOMBS, THE PANICS, JENS LEKMAN, KID KOALA, BRITISH INDIA, THE BAMBOOS, SOUTH RAKKAS CREW, BUFFALO TOM, JAY REATARD, SCIENTISTS OF MODERN MUSIC, FUTURE OF THE LEFT, JANE BADLER AND SIR, KAMIKAZE TRIO, PIKELET, QUA, THE FROWNING CLOUDS, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, THE SEA AND CAKE.

In Rainbows Remix

It seems that U.S. hip hop artist, AmpLive, has created a mini-album of Radiohead-sampling hip hop drawn from the band's eighth studio album - In Rainbows.

Despite some mild controversy, the entire album is now available for free online.
Featuring the likes of Chali2NA of Jurassic 5 and Del The Funky Homosapien.

But hey, it's free, what more do you need to know!
